Sharing Information Is Empowering

VIRN has been offering the Tech-Ease program for over ten years. We pride ourselves on sharing information about tools and technology to help the community of people who are vision impaired, their family and friends have equal access to information, download audio books, music and other reading materials through public library services, use GPS for mobility and independent travel and much more. We also welcome and think it is great seeing our young community members taking time to share information to keep up with today's changes in technology.

OrCam Presentation & Personal Appointments

On October 27, 2015, at our Trade Show we were fortunate to have OrCam as one of our exhibitors. At this event several people had the opportunity to see a quick demonstration and short trial of the OrCam device. All were very impressed!

We have been approached by members of the community asking for another opportunity to try the OrCam device again, in a more relaxed not so hurried situation.

So once again we are very excited to welcome OrCam back to Winnipeg on Wednesday, March 2 and Thursday March 3rd.
