Some of you have been asking for a more in-depth workshop on using a Bluetooth Keyboard with your iPhone or iPad. So we have set aside two dates to make it happen.

Two Dates

Monday. March 21st at 4:30 to 6:30

Location: VIRN Office – 320 Sherbrook St, Winnipeg
Call or Email to reserve your spot.
Reservation line: 204-975-9341
Toll-Free: 1-888-851-VIRN (8476)
Email: info@virn.ca

Requirements

• An IPhone or iPad
• Headphones / Earbuds
• Bluetooth Keyboard

Participants should be running IOS 8x or 9x.

A lot of what will be shown might apply to earlier versions of IOS but not all.

Note: The oldest model should be the IPhone 4s.

Participants should be comfortable with using the IPhone or iPad via touch gestures, the keyboard is just a quicker and less frustrating way to perform the operations.

Note: We will not teach the IPhone or iPad itself in this workshop.

Participants should already have a Bluetooth keyboard or arrange for a some loaner.

Participants should be comfortable using a keyboard, preferably a touch typist.
Note: The instructor for this workshop uses VoiceOver exclusively but we see no reason why this workshop would not be equally as useful for those using the low vision accessibility functions.

We will be using the Text Message App and the Notes App for this workshop.

Coming Soon!
VIRN will be offering a series of workshops that aim at teaching specific Apps.
